In the glass, clear golden green, a bit beyond pale. Clean, intense nose of pineapple, grapefruit, and peppers. Dry, high acidity, and and almost-medium body, dominated by tropical fruits; also hints of green apple and slight vegetal notes. Very crisp; nice long fruity-lemon finish. A solid NZ Sauv Blanc, very drinkable though not a lot distinctive about it. 13% alcohol. $24 at Crosstown. See Oyster Bay (winemaker’s PDF for this vintage).
