Clear, almost-medium golden appearance. Light floral-lemon-grass nose. Dry, high acidity, medium body. Citrus, particularly lemon, dominates; a background of floral notes with a hint of residual sweetness. Good length. 14% alcohol, but not as apparent as it might be; nicely balanced with the fruit and sharp acidity. A solid Pinot Gris; overall good and recommended. $25 (though advertised on the shelf at $30) at Crosstown. See Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars.
